Junior Everblades Scholarships

The Michael Delaney and Ken Schinkel scholarships are available to families that need financial assistance to pay for travel hockey.
We realize the financial commitment to play the sport we all love can become a burden for some members of the Junior Everblades organization. Through the generous contributions of numerous donors, we can offer that assistance to individuals that qualify.
The selection of recipients to receive scholarships is decided by committee members comprised of the Delaney and Schinkel families. Any information provided on the application is reviewed by the scholarship committee and remains confidential.
Providing financial records will help in the selection process. However, this is optional. Financial documentation is not a requirement but may assist the committee members in making a decision.

In honor of Coach Mike's memory, the Delaney family and the Junior Everblades have established a scholarship fund benefiting young hockey players in our community. Mike coached the Junior Everblades for many years. He was passionate about the game of hockey and the players he coached.
As we are all aware, hockey is an expensive sport and for many families, it is difficult financially to fund the passion of their young players. Through generous contributions, the Michael Delaney Scholarship Fund is available to benefit youth hockey players through scholarships provided on an in-need basis.
