It’s with heavy hearts, the Jr. Everblades community is saddened to learn about the passing of Brian McAndrews. Brian, 44, worked as a Director of Outside Services at Mediterra Golf Course in Naples, Florida. He was a lover of hockey and a true hockey dad. Brian, survived by his wife Kelly and his three sons are all active members of the Jr. Everblades community. Riley and Brady play for the Jr. Everblades and Finnegan is just beginning his hockey career.
From the entire Jr. Everblades organization, our deepest condolences go out to both the family and friends of the McAndrews family.
The visitation for Brian McAndrews will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Shikany’s Bonita Funeral Home in Bonita Springs, FL from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Ft. Myers, FL at 11:00 a.m.
The family has stated that the attire for the wake and service be casual and attendees are encouraged to wear hockey jerseys.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations would be made to the GoFundMe account to assist with medical expenses and to continue to provide college savings for Brain’s three sons.
