ESTERO, FL —  An exciting and FREE opportunity is coming to Germain Arena on March 17 for youth hockey players aged 5-13 years of age to try their hand at playing the goalie position.

Try Goalie Day takes place on March 17 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. on the main rink at Germain Arena.  Everblades Goaltending Coach Josh Robinson, in conjunction with Phil Osaer of USA Hockey, will be hosting the event for those kids interested to have fun and give the goaltending position a try.

Goalie equipment will be provided, but all participants will need to bring their own hockey equipment as well as skates.  Players participating will receive instruction and guidance from an experienced staff.

No pre-registration is required, however those interested must check-in near the zamboni entrance tunnel located inside the main rink when they arrive for the event.   All skill levels are encouraged to come join in on the fun.
