Jr. Everblades 14U A head coach Rob Girard recaps the Colorado Springs Presidents Day tournament below:

The Bantam 14U "A" Jr. Everblades just came back from the Colorado Springs Presidents Day Tournament February 16-19, 2018. For some of the kids it was the first time they experienced snow.

The team went a respectable 2-2 in the tournament playing some great competition from both Canada and the United States. The first game against the host Colorado Springs Tigers was the toughest as it was early morning and the players had a tough time adjusting to the 6800 ft. altitude, especially coming straight from Florida.

The team got to play games in the Broadmoor World Arena where Colorado College plays, and the US Olympic Training Center as well as a game in Pueblo CO.The team stayed at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort which was spectacular. The players and parents all had a great time hanging out, skiing, hiking, and seeing the sites.

It was a great team building experience for the players and their families leading up to SAHOF.
