ESTERO, FL- The Florida Jr. Blades 16U Futures team will travel to the Potomac Patriots Showcase this weekend. The Potomac Showcase will take place at the Prince William Ice Center in Woodbridge, VA.

“Building off our success over the Thanksgiving break, where we did a great job controlling play and generating chances. We come into this showcase on a high and want to continue our momentum through the weekend,” said head coach Pete Flores. “If we play disciplined systematic hockey we will be a tough team to beat.”

The weekend starts this Friday, December 15 at 8:10 p.m. against the Connecticut Junior Rangers before a double-header on Saturday starting at 12:20 p.m. against the Jersey Hitmen. The Jr. Blades will take the ice again for a late start at 7:20 p.m. against the Skipjacks Hockey Club. On Sunday, the Jr. Blades close out the Showcase against the Northern Cyclones at 8:30 a.m.
