ESTERO, FL- The Florida Jr. Blades 16U Futures team will travel to the CCM World Invite Chicago this weekend. The CCM World Invite is home to the premier AAA fall youth ice hockey tournament featuring one of the largest youth hockey tournament in the city.

“It's a quick turnaround for us from our NH trip. The CCM World Invite is a tournament that we look forward to every year," said head coach Pete Flores. "Brings together some of the best teams in the country and we look forward to competing against some of the best. We're a detail oriented team and details will define us this weekend.”

The weekend starts with a Friday double-header at 11:45 a.m. against the 95 Giants before the Jr. Blades take the ice again at 7:40 p.m. to play the West Coast Renegades. On Saturday, the Jr. Blades take on the Naperville Sabres at 10:10 a.m. and then play the Jimmy John's program at 7:40 p.m.
