ESTERO, FL- The 12U A team earned a pair of huge road victories on the weekend at the Panthers Ice Den. The Saturday double-header kicked off against the Miami Toros before the 12U A program faced the Florida Jr. Panthers, both results ended with 3-1 scores.
“Exceptional hockey players can sometimes score goals with individual efforts, but it takes a full team commitment to reduce goals against,” said head coach James Johnstone. “This past weekend we gave up a total of only two goals in two games played, and that says a lot about the character and dedication of these young men. Either that or Chase and Logan were just that good between the pipes, maybe it was a little of both.”
The next scheduled games will be take place on Sunday, October 29 in Palm Beach. On Saturday afternoon, the 12U A program will face the Palm Beach Breakers at 12:30 p.m. at the Palm Beach Ice Works before battling the Palm Beach Hawks at 3:50 p.m. at the PB SkateZone.
