Florida Jr. Everblades are pleased to announce in conjunction with the National Champion Florida Jr. Blades of USP3HL the forming of the 16U Futures Team for the 2017-2018 season. The Jr. Everblades 16U Futures team will consist of 2002 birth years and will play in the USPHL 16U Futures division showcases. This team will give players from all over Florida extensive on and off ice training as well as exposure to top level competition in both USPHL 16U Futures Showcases and Tier 1 tournaments across the country. This 16U Futures team is one of its kind in Florida as it holds exclusive territory rights to enter this division of the USPHL under the Jr. Blades umbrella. No other team in Florida will have this opportunity to play in showcases of this caliber.

Division consisted of 3 Tier 1 recognized 15U teams

• Jersey Hitmen
• Jersey Shore Whalers
• Potomac Patriots
• Connecticut Jr. Rangers (Joining in ’17-18)
• PAL Jr. Islanders (Joining in ’17-18)

Regional satellite practice/training sessions Saturday-Sunday to reduce weekday travel.

• 3-4.5 hours on ice training per training weekend.
• 1-2 hours off ice training per training weekend.

Germain Arena on and off ice training to feature Jr. Blades USPHL Premier coaches Todd Pococke and Tyler Carlston (‘16-17 USP3HL National Champions).

• USPHL 16U Futures Showcases (4-6 held each season).
• Minimum of two Tier 1 Tournaments.
• Weekend scrimmages against elite level competition.
• Opportunity for player billet during training weekends.
