The Jr. Everblades are excited to announce the head coaches for the 8U division! Austin Petersen will return to the 8U division as the Major’s head coach after a successful season with the Minor team. Coach Austin values player development and enjoyment of the game above all else, which has made him a household name in southwest Florida. His players continually receive the building blocks of hockey while also being challenged to learn and grow in a team atmosphere. Brian Nicklas will join the Jr. Everblades for his first season with the organization as the 8U Minor head coach. From Michigan, Brian has a wealth of playing experience that will translate into a positive and development-rich environment for his players. Coach Brian will aim to establish a strong foundation and culture for the many players entering the Jr. Everblades organization for the first time, focusing on individual development and ensuring each player reaches their full potential every time they step on the ice.
