Welcome Coach Megan Ofner, Lady JEB Coordinator

The Junior Everblades welcome aboard, Megan Ofner.  Megan will assume the position of Lady JEB Coordinator.

Megan relocated to Florida in 2016 after graduating from NCAA Division I Sacred Heart University. She was described  impact player all four college seasons, helping to power the Pioneers to numerous wins. She was Assistant Captain her senior season. Her dedication to academics and athleticism resulted in selection into the Student-Athlete Honor Society. 

She is a lifelong hockey player, competing in AAA hockey since age 12. She notably has participated in three USA Hockey National Championships. Prior to Sacred Heart University she attended prep school at Princeton Day School and was awarded MVP her sophomore, junior and senior seasons, becoming team captain as sophomore. Her prep school career resulted in a school record high of 121 points. Her standout prep school and travel hockey careers enabled her to set her horizons on college hockey. 

Megan has coached youth hockey for the past 10 years, and is an advocate for for female athletes, teamwork and individualized skill development. She served the past two seasons as Head Coach of the Lady Warriors of the SGHL, leading the team to back to back championship games. She is excited to join the Junior Everbaldes and continue to expand girls hockey in Florida.
