Six JEB Teams Heading to SAHOF State Championships

The 2024 SAHOF State Championships will be held 2/23-25/2024 and 3/1-3/3/2024.  Multiple venues throughout the state will host the tournaments.

Six JEB teams qualified to participate in the year-end event.

  • 14AA
  • 16A

The 10U-A1 team, lead by Head Coaches, Matt Spiller and Ryan Vesce, captured the #1 spot in the SFHL league 10UA-Orange division.   The team finished the regular league season with an impressive undefeated record of  16-0-2.  10UA1 will play in the Orange-Gold division, 2/23-25/2024 at Clearwater Ice Arena in Clearwater.

10A2, lead by Head Coach Austin Petersen, finished the regular league season in the 2nd spot of the 10U-ABK division with a record of 14-3-1.  Starting the season in the White division, it was determined early that the team would be more competitive in the higher Black division.  They didn't disappoint.  10UA2 will play in the Black-Gold division 2/23-25/2024 in Wesley Chapel at AdventHealth Center Ice. 

10AA  ended the regular season in 3rd place.   Lead by Head Coaches Ernie Hartlieb and Renee Gauthier the team finished with record of 13-3-2.  They will play in the Gold division 2/23-25/2024 at Palm Beach Skate Zone in Lake Worth.

12A2 lead by Head Coach Patrick Olsen, finished their regular season in 3rd place in the 12UA-White division with record of 10-7-1.  They will play 2/23-25/2024 in the 12U A White division at Community First Igloo in Jacksonville.

14AA and Head Coach Johnny Pelletier will play at Hertz Arena during the weekend of 3/1-3/3/2024.  The team finished the regular league in 6th place with a record of 9-7-2.  14AA will head to the USAH Nationals if they clinch the 1st place spot at States. 

16A placed 6th in a very competitive  division of fifteen teams.  Lead by Head Coach Derek Poletis, the team finished with a regular league record of 10-8-0.  They will play the weekend of 3/1-3/3/2024 in Clearwater at Clearwater Ice Arena.
