Columbus Day  Weekend Tournament Recap

      The Junior Everblades took on many Columbus Day Tournaments throughout the country this past weekend. These teams played hard, fierce, and were determined to win.

    The 10U A1 took on the Columbus Day Clash in Clearwater, Florida, Columbus Day weekend. After a hard battle in the tournament, the team placed second.

    The 10U A2, 12U A2, 14U A2, and 16U A faced off at the Columbus Day Discovery Showdown in West Palm this weekend.

    The 10U A2 team, coached by Austin Petersen, fought a hard challenge by playing in the Orange division in this tournament. In the championship game against the Palm Beach Breakers and took home the first-place championship and the banner. This makes the second championship win in a row for this team this season.

    The 12U A2, coached by Patrick Olsen, went undefeated in the Columbus Day Discovery Showdown, winning against the Jr. Mocs 3-2. It was a tough battle back and forth, but they pulled it out in the end, claiming the title Championship.

    The 12U AA team took on the Silver Sticks Columbus Day Tournament at the Panthers Ice Den.

    The 14U A1 team packed their skates and jumped on the plane to face off in the 200x85 in Dallas, Texas. This team, coached by Marv Degon, took on the challenge of playing up a division and competed in the AA division. Even though the team fell short of making it to the championship, they received their first win of the season.

  The 12U A1 team competed in the Rolling Thunder, Big Bear Tournament in St. Louis, Mo. This team battled the entire weekend out of state, going undefeated in the tournament. This team, coached by Charlie Linglet, took home first place. The banner is packed and ready to return to SW Florida.

    Many memories were made between teams and families this weekend. We are so proud of all our teams for playing so hard. Congratulations to all!
