Our 14U AA squad went a perfect 5-0 in-route to the O-Town Showdown in Orlando.   The Blades went 3-0 in the round robin to secure the top seed with 5-4, 7-1, 6-5 victories.   Both 1 goal victories came with exciting late game winning goals.   The semifinals against the Atlanta Phoenix was scoreless until Defenseman Grady Shaw scored a highlight reel goal late in the second period.   Shaw continued on to record the hat-trick. Declan Anderson, Cooper Price and Evan Marshall also scored in the 6-3 victory.   The Championship game was a back and forth tilt as the Gulf Coast Flames opened the scoring.   Declan Anderson tied it with a rocket.   Hunter Fiebe then gave the Blades the lead with a beautiful shot of his own.  Sebastian Mogull tapped in a rebound to give the Blades a 3-1 lead.   The Flames, who had beaten the Blades 5-1 earlier this season, quickly scored 2 goals as the game was tied going into the third.  Exciting back and forth action the entire third period but no goals were scored until Sebastian Mogull sniped the tournament winner with just 26 seconds remaining in the game!  

Goaltenders Jason Perkins and Matt Boock were outstanding throughout the tournament.   Sebastian Mogull was the tournament MVP with 11 goals and 3 assists.   Grady Shaw was second in tourney scoring with 4 goals and 4 assists.   Shaw and Evan Marshall led the tourney with 4 assists.   The victory was a total team effort by our 14U AA Jr. Everblades!
