The Junior Everblades headed to Wesley Chapel for Labor Day weekend to attend Blue Line Hockey's Barn Burner Tournament. Nine JEB teams played over the three-day event. The 8U Major and Minor teams will play 9/12 & 9/13, due to COVID capacity restrictions. This is the first time, in recent history, that all JEB teams have played in the same tournament.
12U AA skated away with the Championship banner in their division. The team dominated the ice with an impressive five-game winning streak. Goalie Cole Brindley allowed only five goals while shutting out the Breakers and Tampa Bay Crunch. Forward Hogan Cooper led the team in scoring, finishing with a remarkable 11 points.
12U A1 started their fifth game in the semi-final round with two big goals in the first period but couldn't hold on and fell to the Toros 2-5. Declan Anderson, Christian Gardiner, and Jake Lethem lead the scoring with 5 points each.
