Former Florida Junior Blades' and P.A.L. Jr. Islanders' player Devin Kasperek has been named the NCDC Defensemen of the Year.

Kasperek, from Amherst N. Y.,  played for the Junior Blades during the 2016-17 season.  He was a two-year NCDC All-Star, finishing the 2019-20 season as the third highest-scoring defenseman in the history of the league.
