ESTERO, FL- After securing a spot in the USPHL playoffs for the first time in the programs history, the Florida Jr. Blades 16U Futures team is set to travel this weekend to the 2018 Mid-Winter AAA Classic Invitational in Detroit, Michigan.   

“This will be an exciting test for us all this weekend. We’ve drawn a couple of the premier organizations in the country during pool play and it looks like it will be a fast-paced weekend,” said head coach Pete Flores. “Future focused, this will be a good stepping stone in building for playoffs.”

The weekend will kick off with a double-header starting on Friday at 9:45 a.m. against Victory Honda before a 5:15 p.m. start against the Cleveland Wildcats.

On Saturday, Futures will hit the ice for an early morning start at 7:45 a.m. against Honeybaked before the results will determine the final matchup start times.
