16U Futures Volunteer At Holidays Without Hunger

ESTERO, FL- On Saturday, December 23, members of the Florida Jr. Blades 16U Futures team spent the morning volunteering at the Holidays Without Hunger event at the Lee Civic Center.

Holidays Without Hunger is in its fifth year in southwest Florida and is hosted by the Meals Of Hope. During this year’s event, the goal of the program was to package 1,000,000 meals in two hours.

Meals Of Hope mission is about communities coming together to end hunger and the holiday’s are no exception as in the local Southwest Florida area the program serves 170 families each week.
