16U Futures Set To Open Inaugural Season

The Florida Jr. Blades 16U Futures program will open the inaugural season on the road for a Labor Day weekend full of hockey kicking off Saturday, September 2 at 5:50 p.m. against the New Jersey Rockets at the Northford Ice Pavilion.

"We’re excited to get the season underway this weekend,” said coach Pete Flores. “We've had a few weeks of solid practices and everyone is itching to get some games under our belt."

The Jr. Blades will return to the ice Sunday for a double header first against the Islanders Hockey Club at 10:00 a.m. followed up by a 6:30 p.m. puck drop against the Philadelphia Blazers. The Labor Day weekend will be wrapped up at Chelsea Piers CT South for a Monday 10:00 a.m. puck drop against the Connecticut Junior Rangers.
